We are very proud to present you our first EP - Prophecy of War, produced after a year of playing together. Prophecy of War is a collection of stories placed in the viking era. First five songs tell the tales of a journey, fight and the glorious death in the battlefield. Warnawa is a history lesson about one of the most spectacular sea battles in early-medieval Europe where united Slavic warriors defended their homes and traditions from christian agressors from Denmark and Germany - it's the only song on this album written in Polish language. EP ends with an atmospheric folk song from Iceland - Krummavisur.

Northern Gdańsk, Poland

Northern was created in May 2015 in Gdańsk by Mikołaj and Grzesiek (guitarists). Soon Andrzej (bass), Kuba (drums) and MArcin (Vocals) joined the band. They have debiuted in October 2015 in a club Wydział Remontowy, supporting Vervrax. After a few months Andrzej was replaced because of personal stuff, by Ninja (Ettenmoor, Eta Nearrum). Now Northern released their first EP - Prophecy of War. ... more
